Drinking Buddies

Have you seen the trailer for Drinking Buddies staring Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick and Ron Livingston? This movie has already received some positive reviews at SXSW. The casting lineup brought for this movie is phenomenal and we're excited. Here's a little about the movie:

"Kate (Olivia Wilde) and Luke (Jake Johnson) work together at a craft brewery. They have one of those friendships that feels like it could be something more. But Kate is with Chris (Ron Livingston), and Luke is with Jill (Anna Kendrick). Jill wants to know if Luke is ready to talk about marriage. The answer to that question becomes crystal clear when Luke and Kate unexpectedly find themselves alone for a weekend. DRINKING BUDDIES is written and directed by Joe Swanberg and stars Olivia Wilde, Jake Johnson, Anna Kendrick, and Ron Livingston."

Drinking Buddies is set to be released August 23, 2013.

Robert Downey Jr. To Star In The Avengers 2 & 3

Robert Downey Jr. has entered into talks with Disney to renegotiate his contract. As many of you know, his original contract was fulfilled after Iron Man 3. However, Avengers Director Joss Whedon said that an Avengers script contains an Iron Man role, and he could not imagine an Iron Man not being portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. Robert Downey Jr's new contract with Disney is for a two-picture deal in The Avengers 2 and The Avengers 3. It is safe to assume that there will be no Iron Man 4.

Right?
Check out some of the great photos from Entertainment Weekly of the upcoming movie adaption of Divergent from Veronica Roth’s wonderful trilogy. We have high hopes for this one! If they stick close to the books, they’ll be great.

You know what would be awesome to wear leading up to the movie? Or even when you attend the movie? A Faction Initiation tank top! You can pick a color that suits your preferred faction and rock it while you hit the gym… we lean toward the black and red. You can guess what that means!

Man of Steel Review - MyGeekery
Were you one of the millions of people around the world that went to the Cinema for the opening weekend of Christopher Nolan's Man of Steel?

Opening weekend earned $125.1 Million over the four days. This set the new record for opening films in June. Despite the excellent turn-out, there is still much criticism about the story by critics. Rotten Tomatoes has given Man of Steel an incredibly low score of 56%, however audiences polled are giving the flick a much higher score of 86%. Not only are the critics criticizing this film, but so are some Fanboys. Lets be honest, this story has been told numerous times over the past 30 years. There are some variations to the store which some 'hardcore' fans don't approve of.

However, this adaption of the film doesn't stride away from the core fundamentals of Superman and the changes have been bring Superman to the 21st Century; a current and accurate representation of truth, justice and the American way. His transgressions are what keep him human, and his sacrifices shows his true love for humanity.
