Matt Smith Says 'Thank You' at SDCC

At the last Comic-Con panel for Matt Smith as the Doctor said, 'Thank you for your support' to the fans at the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego, California. Comedian Craig Ferguson, longtime Whovian, as the mediator of today's panel. Steven Moffat confirmed today that David Tennant and Matt Smith would be appearing in scenes together during the 50th Anniversary Episode.

The 50th Anniversary Episode will be the last episode of Matt Smith as the Doctor. Rumors are still floating around as who will become the 12th Doctor, but no official hints have been dropped by Moffat or anyone at BBC. We're sure they will keep the identity of the next Doctor under lock and key.

Sherlock Makes an Appearance on BBC America's Top Gear

Are you a fan of BBC's Top Gear? What about Sherlock? Check out this coming week's episode of Top Gear on BBC America with special guest Benedict Cumberbatch. If you haven't checked out Sherlock yet, it's a must. The television series is a bit different than traditional series in that each season is 3 episodes long. Each episode tackles one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books with a modern twist in a hour and a half episode. 

Season 3 will be premiering sometime in the Spring of 2014.
As for Top Gear, this is the 20th Season and has no sign of slowing. Top Gear continues to be a pop culture hit in both England and the United States. Check out the next episode July 23rd on BBC America.

Hunger Games: Catching Fire Comic-Con Trailer


Here's another trailer to the Hunger Games: Catching Fire, due out November 2013. This newly released trailer gives us a better glimpse into the new found 'hope' that the districts gained after the 74th Annual Hunger Games. And finally, we get our first glimpse at the Arena for the 75th Hunger Games. I know this has been something I've been waiting for since the last Hunger Games. The arena is intense, and I'm excited to see a big screen interpretation of the arena.
