Ant-Man has arrived...and our excitement is not small scale!

I have been awaiting Ant-Man for a LONG time. I have enjoyed all the hype and unique marketing techniques deployed by Marvel, and now the time has finally arrived to see this small scale superhero on the big screen. Now, this is just my reaction to the movie, but I'll do my best to keep out any spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet.

How to Wrangle Raptors, by Chris Pratt.

The first clip from Jurassic World with Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt has us counting down the days to June 12 (63 days, 12 hours, 45 minutes).

I remember the first time I was allowed to watch Jurassic Park. Not when it was in theaters - I was only four years old - but later, with my older sister, our friend David, and a bag of potato chips that we pretended would give us the power to overcome all our jitters and nerves. Needless to say, we gorged ourselves on those Lays whenever the raptors were on screen.

I'm sincerely hoping Jurassic World requires just as many if not more greasy fried delicacies. From the looks of it, with Chris Pratt playing the snarky Owen Brady, there'll be a few laughs and just plain cool moments as well. Is it summer yet? I'm so ready for some good movies to land!

Which summer hit are you guys most looking forward to?

Movie review: Cinderella

And princess movies, and happy endings. I sometimes tune out the cloyingly sweet stuff - you know, when the fluff just gets awkward in its unbelievability - but for the most part, I'm a fan. Disney movies have been hit or miss for a while now, but I'm not presently going to get into where and why, or talk about hidden agendas, etc. It seems to me, when it comes to Disney's most recent adaption of Cinderella, people are emerging from their movie theaters either sighing dreamily or shaking their fists...
