The wait lengthens for Sherlock series 4

Sometimes it feels like if Steven Moffat isn't breaking our hearts one way, he's bound to break it with another.

Although Sherlock fans may have gotten used to the painfully long wait between new episodes (gotten used to...not enjoyed), the latest news from Moffat - that Sherlock's 4th season won't even begin filming until spring of 2016 - is hitting hard.

Whether or not the delay is due to the growing demand for Benedict and Martin remains to be seen, but an Entertainment Weekly writer was able to confirm that Martin joining the lineup for the next Captain America movie wouldn't interfere with series 4. Maybe Moffat just has something else up to his sleeve.

At least we have the Victorian Christmas special to look forward to. Fingers crossed that it's about five hours long...that would hold us over.

Design of the Week: Here Be Dragons and Where Do You Want to Start?

This week we're featuring two new designs that celebrate two of our favorite BBC shows: Doctor Who and Sherlock!

"So... all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will - where do you want to start?"

The Girl Who Waited has a special place in our heart. We might never recover from her adventures with her Raggedy Man. So here's our tribute to one of our favorite companions, Amy Pond, on her first of many journeys with the Doctor. Find it here!

"A dragon slayer. Is that what you think of me?"

For fans and grudging admirers of the indefatigable "dragon slayer" Sherlock Holmes - or even just 221b Baker Street - this super soft 100% cotton shirt is for you. (As to whether or not this is at all in reference to a certain dragon named Smaug voiced by a certain British actor...we'll leave up to you.)

Sherlock Makes an Appearance on BBC America's Top Gear

Are you a fan of BBC's Top Gear? What about Sherlock? Check out this coming week's episode of Top Gear on BBC America with special guest Benedict Cumberbatch. If you haven't checked out Sherlock yet, it's a must. The television series is a bit different than traditional series in that each season is 3 episodes long. Each episode tackles one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's books with a modern twist in a hour and a half episode.

Season 3 will be premiering sometime in the Spring of 2014.
As for Top Gear, this is the 20th Season and has no sign of slowing. Top Gear continues to be a pop culture hit in both England and the United States. Check out the next episode July 23rd on BBC America.
